I had a dream the other night. An ugly frightening dream, slightly different shape, but same hard-to-see truth that has surfaced again and again over the last three decades. Only this time I get it, finally. And this ugly dream is a gift because it says yes, you have reason for the changes you are making and yes these changes are necessary, not a lifestyle choice.
